SAEISS Aero Design Challenge 2020

I participated in the SAE India Southern Section Aero Design Challenge (ADC) 2020 in the Micro Class category, marking the start of my journey in aeromodelling. Competing with teams from across the country, we secured an All-India Rank of 27. This competition provided valuable hands-on experience and a deeper understanding of fixed-wing aircraft design and fabrication. As the Fabrication Head, I gained leadership experience and strengthened my technical skills, building a strong foundation for my passion for Aerospace Engineering and Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS).

SAEISS Aero Design Challenge 2021

I participated in the SAE India Southern Section Aero Design Challenge (ADC) 2021, which was conducted online due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Our team submitted our innovative design idea through a video presentation and achieved an impressive All India Rank of 3 in the Video Presentation category. During this competition, I served as the Vice Captain of the team, further developing my leadership skills and contributing to the team’s success with strategic planning and effective collaboration. This experience enhanced my technical knowledge, presentation skills, and the ability to convey complex concepts effectively, strengthening my passion for aerospace engineering and teamwork.

SAEISS Autonomous Drone Development Competition 2023

I participated in the SAE India Southern Section Autonomous Drone Development Competition (ADDC) 2023 as the Captain of my team. In this competition, we secured the prestigious All India Rank of 1st for the Best Payload Dropping System. Although I had some prior knowledge of multi-rotor systems, this competition greatly enhanced my expertise in autonomous flight planning and flight operations. Leading the team allowed me to strengthen my skills in team coordination, advanced drone technology, and developing efficient payload delivery mechanisms. This experience was a significant step forward in my journey within the field of autonomous systems and drone technology.

Mehar Baba II Challenge 2023

I participated in the prestigious Mehar Baba II Challenge, conducted by the Indian Air Force (IAF). This high-standard competition was a significant milestone in my aerospace and drone technology journey. Among participants across India, our team secured a top 10 position, marking a remarkable achievement. I proudly led the team with strategic planning and innovative solutions, demonstrating technical expertise and leadership throughout the challenge.

We are proud to be the second institution to achieve a top 10 rank, with all other competitors being established corporate companies. Despite being the youngest team, we delivered our best with determination and passion. Competing at this level was invaluable, pushing us to meet industry standards with innovative solutions. This strengthened my skills in autonomous flight systems, payload integration, and real-time mission execution. Receiving an official letter of recognition from the IAF is a proud career highlight and motivation to pursue innovative aerospace solutions.
